Janice has been experimenting with her new sewing machine. Learning to do reverse applique work resulted in the beautiful cushion cover. The Advent calendar is for one of her sons. Janice has to make three of everything to keep the boys happy.
I completed 3 Beatson bags this week.
Stephanie made 6 Beatson bags with fabric donated by Fran.
Susan created some crochet artwork for Norma to hang in her Wee Crafty House in the Garden.
Norma completed this Viral shawl using Lisa's "Peacock" yarn in merino and silk with a sparkle. Love those colours! The Giant Granny square blanket was just something to work on.
Take notice people! Lisa is using pointy sticks! I caught Lisa in a quiet moment knitting socks. Whatever next?
Kat had had some time off work and managed to keep herself busy with a little crafting. All of these items are for her box. The little top is lovely in this random colourway. The cardigan is similar to one Kat knitted for her Dad.
The Blue and white cardigan was Kat using up some odds and ends and finally, the little hats were made to match the star blankets that Kat made some time ago.
We had a bit of a celebration on Tuesday night when Norma announced that the total amount raised for the Beatson by the Happy Hookers now stands at £2989.
Next week we meet in M & S Cafe.
Happy crafting!
