Norma has been preparing for Hallowe'en! This mini banner is for one of her craft fairs.
I saw this idea at the Quilt Show at Ingleston but didn't want to pay £12 for the kit. After all , I am a poor wee pensioner and every penny counts! My wall pocket is similar to the one I saw on display and I loved making it.
Janice is always busy creating something! This week she completed two Twidllemuffs. These muffs reallly have caught people's imagination! They are so tactile!
Magda wanted to crochet a coat to wear at Yarndale and this is how it turned out! Wow! She started work on the coat before the summer holidays. Magda said that she felt like a film star because the coat attracted so much attention! Magda used DK Stylecraft yarn in autumn colours. She still has about a third of a ball of each colour remaining and has yet to find a suitable project to use it on.
Caroline fell in love with this scarf kit and had to buy it. She made it as a Christmas present and has still to do another one.
Tuesday 6th October is the RED CHALLENGE. Remember to bring along your RED entry. There are lots of prizes BUT you have to be in it to win it! We meet in the Management Suite.
Thank you to M & S for their hospitality last week.
