Twinkle, twinkle, little STAR!

Phyllis had to plead with her darling grandson to be allowed to borrow the Captain America star blanket that she made especially for him. I can understand his reluctance to part with it. Fabulous!

Granny Janice has also been busy completing the bunting for little Christopher. That's a lot of letters to sew on! You did a great job there, Janice. The little cardigan has been done in sparkle yarn and is for her box! It is a wee bit girly for Christopher.

Jemma is going to Edinburgh Uni in September and will be staying in the Halls of Residence there. This is her first patchwork creation and has been made to give her bedroom a homely feel. I love this. Well done, Jemma!

Audrey has just completed her degree and crocheted this Elise shawl in 3 ply yarn to celebrate. Go on spoil yourself, Audrey! Celebrate in style!

Fee is another of our talented ladies. She hooked this stunning c2c blanket for her friend's baby girl and then added the cheeky little monkey. so Cute!

Fee's Mum, Lyn, has knitted these little cardigans as a present for Fee's friend. The colours are rich and cozy. Hand knits always make a great present.

Yvonne enjoys making the pompom blankets. This beautiful blue and white combo was made for little Christopher. Louise was delighted with it.

Yvonne's Mum-in-law, Mary, has been visiting again from New Zealand. She started this wee all- in- one suit when she arrived and completed it in time to show on Tuesday night. Mary couldn't remember the name of the yarn but it is lovely and soft and very warm. Another great finish.

Elaine is still collecting 8inch squares for the Knitting for Nepal charity if you would like to participate.

Please remember that the weekly subscription is now £1. This pays for postage for charity makes, eats for social evenings, prizes for the lucky dip and many other activities.

If you would like to participate in the Beatson charity walk taking place in August please contact Caroline or Norma or Fiona. We have some official sponsor sheets if anyone would like one.

It is official! We will be meeting in the M & S Cafe at the Fort on the last Tuesday of each month. We will be there on Tuesday 28th of July.

I have started my RED project, Have you?

Happy crafting!
